Traits

Husky coats have 2 layers, a dense undercoat with a longer topcoat made up of straight guard hairs. This helps them withstand temperatures up to -78 Fahrenheit (ca. 26 degree Celsius) 

Like the coat, the eyes are vast with colors as well. You can see huskies with blue eyes, brown eyes or even heterochromia eyes meaning they can have 1 color in one and blue in another! Just like our pup Delilah.

The huskies tails are heavily furred. Most of these dogs will often curl their tail as well! They sleep in a position called the Siberian Swirl, sometimes where their tail covers their noses for extra warmth. 

Huskies have many color and patterns, but most commonly seen as black and white. But in in fact huskies can come all white, brown and white, gray and white, cream and even black! They have many amazing colors and patterns. 

These will play a role with the fur as well, they can have black noses, brown, and even light tan. They can also have what is called a Snow nose, which is two different colors that make up their nose! 

Males: Usually between 20 and 24 inches (60.96 cm) tall and between 45 and 60lbs

Females: Usually between 19 and 23 inches (58.42 cm) tall and between 35 and 50lbs.
